Faixa estará no disco “Young Dumb Thrills”
Após cantar a felicidade das pequenas coisas em “Happiness” e as alegrias e tristezas de crescer em “Growing Up” (em parceria com Mark Hoppus, do blink-182), a banda inglesa McFly dialoga sobre saúde mental e como estar disposto a pedir ajuda no introspectivo single “Tonight is the night”. A faixa está disponível em todas as plataformas de música digital via BMG e estará em “Young Dumb Thrills”, disco a ser lançado no dia 13/11.

A canção foi composta pela banda com Jason Perry e Jordan Cardy e é um dos momentos mais melancólicos do novo álbum. “Essa música acaba resumindo muito do disco por trazer uma melodia bem característica do Tom com a produção do Danny. Sinto que ela faz uma ponte com o ‘Motion on the Ocean’”, conta Harry Judd, citando o disco da banda lançado em 2006.
Após alguns anos de hiato, Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Harry Judd e Dougie Poynter se reúnem com a mesma energia que fez do McFly um dos artistas de maior sucesso de sua época. Com 10 milhões de discos vendidos e 7 hits #1 nas paradas britânicas, eles ganharam notoriedade por ser uma unidade musical sólida. “Acho que a pausa que tivemos um do outro tornou todo esse processo novo de novo – foi realmente emocionante”, diz Danny. E o período de realização do álbum, que ocupou boa parte desse ano, uniu a banda ainda mais. “O processo da gravação me fez perceber o quanto realmente gostamos de estar na vida um do outro”, diz Judd.
